Smoked chicken pasta.

Oh my! Charles and I teamed up for lunch today.  He made grilled Italian chicken, I made marinara. When merged with whole wheat pene we made the best pasta dish I have ever had!

The grilled flavor doesn't really change the Italian base. The smoked meat just lends a richness to the dish.  Perfection on pene covered in parmesan cheese! And garlic toast to sop it up with!
