Friday night dream, Saturdays dessert

I dreamed all Friday night about baking with my Mema. So I got up making the one cake she and I made together. Over and over again.  Sour cream pound cake.

Vanilla pound cake, so tender and still luscious. Gonna make a dark cherry sauce to go over it. Mema usually had fresh strawberries or peaches to drown this cake. Then she topped all of it with whipped cream.

I had lost my copy of this recipe. My Aunt Fran had to share with me. Thanks bunches!  So good!
