Dinner a hit

Tonight's dinner was a hit!  I made a standard veggie soup base. Sweet peas, green beans, carrots, butter beans, tomatoes and so on.  The big change was in the beef.

Every time Charles cooks burgers he makes at least a dozen.  Usually 2 dozen.  We eat on them for a couple days.  The leftovers go in the freezer.

Tonight I chopped 2 burgers into my soup.  The change was instant.  The rich smokey beef perfumed the whole pot.  


My pesto rolls were a great dipper!  I had grape Koolaide.  (Got to feed the inner child. LOL) 

The brother said several time how good it was.  SCORE!!
