cold awakening
Most mornings Charles feeds and walks the dogs before work. I sleep in. Most of the time.
Trixie is our oldest and most shivery girl. Her coat is very thin. Her feet are very exposed.
The last few days temps have been in the 20s and 30s. When she comes in from the cold Trixie makes for my bed as fast as she can.
Rooting under the covers til she finds bare skin. MY bare skin! Just the place to warm all four paws. YWEEEEEOW!!! I 'm awake now!
I have to suggest to the brother that he turn on the doggie warmer before their walk.
