Lamb for dinner. First time ever!

Charles ran up on some lamb for a good price this afternoon.  He brought a roast and some chops.  I thought it was very brave of him. Neither of us had ever eaten lamb, much less cooked it.

I should have known better. He grilled the chops . They were so lucious! The only side was a salad. Charles did make a basil pesto condiment for the meat. Jiminy cricket! Pesto and lamb! Who knew?

Pesto is one of our favorite flavors. I never would have thought to combine it with this meat. My brother the genius did!

It was so good the only reservations I will ever have about eating it again will be the chef.  What if their not as good as my brother?  Perish the thought!
