A spring turkey day... Charles smoked a turkey Saturday afternoon. Bless him it was fabulous!
A meat and potatoes meal that reminded me of a meal from my youth. A beautiful turkey and fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy.
It almost looks like a Rockwell painting. Lol.
Oh! And the leftovers. . . Traditionally turkey sammies are the go to. I upgraded the traditional left over sammie. Another flavored bread. Stuffing bread.
Baked with sage, garlic, onion and celery. Make a sammie with white meat and cranberry sauce, it will change your life.
I love an open face sammie, slathered in gravy. Unbelievable! I promise.
