Another favorite breakfast

Last night I had Charles’s chicken stew with home made biscuits.  This morning I made bacon biscuits.

Leftover biscuits make the best sammies.  The have a little less crumble to them.  I make my biscuits square.  Less waste than round biscuits. They hold together well.  

Charles and I share the duties of bacon making.  I am home to do the turning, ensuring even curing.  We use a brown sugar and black pepper cure. Charles does the smoking.  Between us we make one AWESOME slab of bacon.

The vanilla latte shown here is optional for some.  Not me of course, but optional for some. All in all a wonderful breakfast.  YUMMSTER!!!
