This is last nights fried chicken dinner. 

Grocery store fried chicken with a sweet and smokey syrup.  A lot of people put honey or maple syrup on fried chicken. Not me.

As a good south Georgia girl I make a blend of cane syrup, hickory smoked bacon and tosted pecans. Pour warm over any fried chicken. 


P.S.  It makes a good change for pancakes too!
