Paula Deens South Western Slaw

 Being a true southerner I love a good slawThis one is very good!  I watched Paula and Bobby Deen make this on one of her shows.  Tried it.  Loved it!

This is made with a jalapeno vinaigrette instead of a creamy mayonnaise based dressing.  The base is almost the standard for any slaw.  Julienned cabbage, carrots and onions.  This is all that is standard.

With the addition of julienned bell peppers and granny smith apple it takes a flavorful turn.   To dress this concoction add a little chili powder, cumin, spicy mustard, sugar and diced jalapenos oil and vinegar. Whisk. 

Toss and let set for up to 2 hours before serving.  So good!  Really picks up a plain hot dog!  Ruff!
