Breakfast: Cinnamon oatmeal

Oatmeal was never one of my favorite breakfasts.  I hate it made with water. So I don't.

Before diabetes I made it with milk.  To keep the carbs down I make mine with cashew milk and a little cream.

Cinnamon Oatmeal

2 cups cashew milk
1/2 cup cream
2 Tbs butter
1 1/2 cups quick oats (hate steel cut sue me)
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Mix all ingredients cold in a pot turn heat up to medium. Once it reaches temp boil until desired thickness. 

Stir continually while cooking.  When done top each portion with butter and brown sugar.

This serves 6 as a part of a larger breakfast, 3 normal people a large bowl or 2 Toshachs.
