Croissants
Testing a new recipe. The family is visiting in a few weeks. I wanted to try some thing special for that weekend. Something WOW!, ya know?
Croissants. That ultra flaky roll from France. They are not hard to make, just very time consuming. I used the recipe from America's test kitchen.
Make a couple batches at the time. Freeze for later use.
When I had finished rolling all the triangles into half moons, I took the scraps and made some testers. Just to be sure I got it right, of course. They were great!
I froze the rest. I think I may make another batch or two before the visit. I don't think one batch will be enough!
