My sister challenged me.

 Yes my sister laid a  sneaky challenge on me.  Knowing I love spiders the way she loves tree frogs, Sally, my little sister, sent me a gorgeous floral photo. 

It has what was identified as an American Grass Spider spread across the largest cluster of blooms. I couldn't resist painting. Sally knew that too.

This is the answer to her challenge. These days it can be identified as what the subject photo contains.
