Blackberry filled lemon layer cake.

I got up today with a major craving!  I’ve been dreaming of a lemon cake. A lemon cake with a black berry  filling.

I really do dream  food.  Its happened all my life.  In the last thirty years it has been becoming more and more obvious I had to cook.

With the cooking of dreams I needed to bake as well.  Today I did.  It ALMOST turned out as good as it tasted.

Almost you ask? Yea, dag nab it!  The butter cream broke a little.  Still the taste and texture were spot on.  The brother liked it a lot. Thanks Charles! I want another taste!
