Finally a good pork roast.
Earlier this week I figured out why my roasts had not been working. My oven doesn't heat well or evenly.
Placing an oven thermometer in the hot box during the space of an hour my thermometer never got hotter than 250°.
Adjusting the temp I was able to finish cooking my 5 pound pork sholder in less than an hour. Oh yeah!!! Good good good!!!
I found a recipe for the Cuban rolls, America's test kitchen recipe, favored for these sandwhiches. The cooked ham, baby Swiss, onions and dill pickle chips as well as the sliced pork roast. Grilled in a sandwich press.
So good. For Moms I made gluten free
90 second almond bread. She loved it.
Aunt Mercy out!
