Friends and neighbors! Ladies and gentlemen. . . Have you ever taken a bite of your bacon cheese burger and not gotten any bacon?!?
Have you ever picked up your BLT and all the B fell out?!? Is your grilled cheese bland and uninteresting?!?!
Bacon lovers suffer no more! Mat-o-Bacon is here to save the day!
Seriously though, I saw this done on a Food Network show, Diners Drive-ins and Dives.
It is a very simple process. 2 and 1/2 pieces of bacon. Split whole pieces in half across the middle. Then split the all the pieces the long way. This will give you 10 pieces to weave with.
Place mat in a hot skillet and fry til crispy on both sides. This works in all manner of sandwiches. Biscuits, burgers, cold cuts. . . They all benefit from Mat-o-Bacon!!!
