A while ago our sister and brother-in-law brought us the biggest shrimp I have ever seen. Charles and Mark smoked a bunch of them. We ate til we were stuffed! The light of this story is that there were left over shrimp.
That means shrimp and grits!!!
Mom loves grits but doesn't eat them often because of her food allergies. she is not as sensitive to the blue corn grits.
When we decided to make these beautiful leftovers into our lunch, we thought of the lovely blue form of one of her favorite foods.
You can't tell but there was a nice sherry butter sauce on the shrimp. Just enough to enhance not drowned out the shrimp.
I hope everyone loved them as much as I did.
