The brother to the rescue!
The weather makes my arthritic conditions very painful. We have had a bout of rain and high pressure that made me very fond of my bed.
Charles, bless him, took care of dinner every night. Made sure there was enough for lunch the next day.
Chicken, ribs and beef roast!
Yesterday we made the most wonderful cheese steaks from the eye of round he had smoked that morning. I feel more than a little spoiled.
So, feeling better, I made a batch of coconut-walnut oatmeal cookies. Charles LOVED them! I am so glad!
The only problem was that I only cooked half! The rest are in the freezer for later. HEE HEE!
