Thank Goodness

This a very emotional time of year for me.  Two years ago I had my last chemo for colon cancer.  There has been tw operations.  The first to remove the growing canser in 2016.  Earlier in 2018 we did another surgery to determine the status of a suspicious shadowy mass on the cat scan.  Thankfully, everything was all clear!  Yee Haw!

So mixed feelings now.  No chemo anymore.Happy happy!  No more cancer meds of any kind. Yooohooo!  However the surgeon doesn’t want to remove my port. ‘Just in case. . . ‘ he said.  2 1/2 years later there is still a ‘Just in case’ .

This is little stinker, my port. The only thing casting a shadow over a cancer and chemo free November.  Hopefully it will always be a reminder.  Just a reminder.
