60 years together

We have all, as a family, come together to celebrate our parents.  Sixty years ago they started our family.

Now our family cosists of four children, a couple sibling spouses that are as close as if they had been born to us, and two beloved grandchildren. A largish family but tight knit.

We replaced their oven for their 60th anniversary. Not the gift that says thank you for all youve done for us. But it was what they needed. 

It didn't say 'I remember all the times you were there.'

It didn't say 'I remember all the times you took care of us'

It didn't say 'I remember all the things you taught us.'

It didn't say 'thank for all the memories'

Then what gift could?
