The best jerk recipe!
Charles has found a recipe for grilled jerk! Chicken or pork. He made pork chops tonight. Gotta tell you they were perfect!
It is basically a paste marinade. He used jalapeños instead of scotch bonnet peppers.
I have to admit when I saw cinnamon and cloves in the recipe I was a little worried, but when I noticed allspice, I almost called a halt to the whole thing!
So, SO glad I didn't! The best jerk I have ever had!

The recipe was found in Weber's Real Grilling, by Jamie Purviance. This, is to my mind, the most authentic recipe he has found.
