Lunch

I have told y'all that I almost always dream in food. Lately I'm sharing that dream space with watercolors, but that's another story. 

Recently I have been dreaming of a hamburger. A hand made butter white roll. Quarter pound patty. Homemade pimento cheese melted over top.

 Yee haw! There's a burger patty in the deep freeze! Oh, oh, oh and a fresh roll too. 

Pimento cheese isn't hard to make but it's so much better than the kind you buy in a tub. Don't get me wrong I have eaten a whole tub by myself.

Freshly grated sharp cheddar, chopped pimentos (roasted ones if you can find them), Dukes mayonnaise and black pepper. Add iceberg on top.

Dukes? Why Dukes? I wanted to find a commercial mayonnaise that reminded me most of my homemade mayo. After extensive taste testing, for me that's Dukes.

Out of my way! My dream burger awaits!!!
