Craving satisfied

Recently I have been craving the deliciousness that is chicken fried steak.  I finally broke down and made some.

It's still a work in progress.  I had trouble getting the crust to brown.  The steak was tender and flavorful.  The crust had a great crispness.  Just didn't brown like I wanted.

It still made lovely plate! I added mashed potatoes, green beans and sawmill gravy to the meal.  The brother added a a beer.
